Take the greatest number of turns between the hooks of the spring compressor.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Remove the central nut (1) and all the other parts from the upper part of the shock absorber, noting their positions (including the compressed spring).<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Check the condition of the dismantled parts and change the defective parts, in particular the anti-bottoming stop.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>In the case of a cartridge shock absorber: unscrew the worn nut (4) and remove the cartridge.<\/h6>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<header class=\"kd-section-title col-lg-12 text-left  subtitle-below-title    vc_custom_1660754642381\" ><h2 class=\"separator_off\" >Priming (fig2)<\/h2><\/header>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h6>Don't forget to prime by pulling the shock and compressing it vertically a few times.<\/h6>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<header class=\"kd-section-title col-lg-12 text-left  subtitle-below-title    vc_custom_1660754749624\" ><h2 class=\"separator_off\" >Assembly<\/h2><\/header>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h6><strong>1- For cartridge shock absorbers:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul class=\"square\">\n<li>\n<h6>1-1 Thoroughly clean the inside of the tube and pour approximately 50 ml of engine oil into it.<\/h6>\n<h6><em><strong>Note :<\/strong>\u00a0This dose of oil will be trapped between the cartridge and the tube to allow proper cooling of the shock absorber.<\/em><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>1-2 Insert the replacement cartridge in the strut and if it comes with a centering cup (5), fit it (Fig3).<\/h6>\n<h6>Tighten the cartridge nut to the torque recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>2- Completely remove the rod and refit the suspension spring with the upper attachment, the dust cover, the anti-bottoming stopper and the new upper central nut.<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<header class=\"kd-section-title col-lg-12 text-left  subtitle-below-title    vc_custom_1660754829559\" ><h2 class=\"separator_off\" >Inspection after assembly<\/h2><\/header>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h6>After replacing the front MacPherson struts, check the adjustment of the front axle.<\/h6>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"kd-photobox\" ><div class=\"photobox-img\"><img width=\"1158\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sia-am.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/aide_2.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"aide_2\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sia-am.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/aide_2.jpg 1158w, https:\/\/www.sia-am.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/aide_2-800x240.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.sia-am.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/aide_2-300x90.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.sia-am.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/aide_2-1024x308.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.sia-am.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/aide_2-768x231.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1158px) 100vw, 1158px\" \/><\/div><div class=\"phb-content text-center\">\n                  <h5 ><\/h5>\n                  <p ><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"D\u00e9montage (fig1) Desserrer mais ne d\u00e9visser pas l'\u00e9crou central sup\u00e9rieur (l).
